Royal weddings feel like they’re out of a fairytale, as proven by the televised spectacles that were Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s weddings. But we haven’t had a royal wedding since Meghan and Harry, who have since left the Royal Family. But don’t fret—plenty of other royals are embracing their happily-ever-after. If you’re craving some more royal romance, here are all the regal couples you can swoon over, including many princesses who didn’t have royal lineage at all!
1. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, William and Katherine
This was one of the most famous royal weddings of all time, and they still have a massive fanbase worldwide. In love since college, they met at St Andrews University, which has been dubbed “Britain’s top matchmaking university,” and had a friendship that soon blossomed into a romance. William tried to woo her by cooking dinners, but it ended up in spills, burns, or meals catching on fire. Still, the two made it and are happily married with three kids.


2. King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and Queen Jetsun Pema of Bhutan
This Buddhist king and queen dated and cohabited for a long time before getting married in a traditional ceremony. King Jigme first met his wife, the daughter of an airline pilot, when he was just 7 and she was a decade older. Years later, they fell in love; the future queen’s intelligence and love for the arts were part of why he fell for her. The couple is known for mingling with their subjects on visits to schools and hospitals and for very active social media accounts.

A reality TV star and a prince make up this extremely photogenic couple, reminiscent of a storyline from a movie. The prince met the “Paradise Hotel” finalist after he came out of a decade-long relationship, and it was described as “love at first sight” by both of them. Sofia first noticed his humility, and Prince Carl Philip gushed about her as well. The media didn’t like that she had once modeled topless, but the princess has no regrets.
