The 9 Most Dramatic Supermodel Plastic Surgery Transformations

The modeling industry is cutthroat in its pursuit of physical perfection. While image plays a major role for those in entertainment, it’s everything in the modeling world. Tyra Banks specifically has come under fire as of late for her brutal comments and standards on ANTM, where she once told a girl, “Do you really think you can have a CoverGirl contract with a gap in your mouth? … It’s not marketable.”

The pressure never disappears for those rare few who have reached the top and built successful careers as supermodels, even when you’ve made a name for yourself. As a result, many supermodels get plastic surgery or cosmetic procedures to maintain their youthful looks and stay relevant. The results are sometimes subtle, and other times, they’re straight up jarring, and occasionally catastrophic (take Linda Evangelista, for example). Here are all the supermodels who have had rumored or confirmed procedures with dramatic results.

  1. Bella Hadid

Bella Hadid was born into fame and has managed to stay in the spotlight today, with modeling gigs and cameos in shows like “The Beauty.” Bella has been honest about getting a nose job at the age of 14, but told Vogue she wished she had “kept the nose of my ancestors.” There are other rumors that she’s had work done, and she looks quite different today than she did when she first entered the modeling world.

  1. Janice Dickinson

Janice Dickinson, the self-dubbed “world’s first supermodel,” didn’t mince words on “America’s Next Top Model,” but before she was a certified bully on TV, she was a supermodel in the 1970s and 1980s. Today, Janice Dickinson looks very different and has admitted to undergoing plastic surgery to maintain her appearance after noticing that she was developing jowls at the age of 32.

  1. Linda Evangelista

We have Linda to thank for the iconic line: “We don’t wake up for less than $10,000 a day,” which she said in a Vogue interview. This Canadian supermodel appeared on over 700 magazine covers in the 80s and 90s. After she got the popular fat-freezing CoolSculpting procedure done in 2015 and 2016, she noticed hardening bulges in her body and received a paradoxical adipose hyperplasia diagnosis as a result.

  1. Adriana Lima

This Brazilian beauty, like many supermodels, rose to fame after working as a Victoria’s Secret angel, with a legendary 2008 Super Bowl commercial that lives on in ad history. That said, her face looks quite different from when she first came to fame in the 2000s, with many speculating she had her nose done as well as cheek implants. She’s never confirmed it, but wrote in an IG story that she simply has the “face of a tired mom.”

  1. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

Blond bombshell Rosie Huntington-Whiteley faced the same scrutiny as her peers, and while she hasn’t been outspoken about her plastic surgery procedures, the masses have speculated on them, especially after a 2026 interview at the Vogue Forces of Fashion event. Dr. Anil Rajani, a specialist in aesthetic medicine, said she’s most likely had filler and biostimulators, which are common procedures among models to enhance facial features and maintain a youthful appearance.

  1. Heidi Klum

Heidi Klum is still a mega babe like she was in her reality TV years, and the German-American model is another Victoria’s Secret veteran who has racked up loads of magazine covers, including Sports Illustrated, Vogue, and GQ. Her appearance has changed over the years, and aesthetic expert Sarah Louise speculated that her nose, in particular, has undergone a change, as have her jaw and lips. Heidi has spoken of her love for Botox and cosmetic enhancement in a 2025 interview with People.

  1. Caprice Bourret

Simply known as “Caprice” by many, this model was known for her diva attitude and status as a coveted 90s runway star. In a 2020 interview, she called her ego “ginormous” at the height of fame. She’s known for starring on the “Ladies of London” TV show, and her face looks quite different from how it did with changes more dramatic than just aging. She expressed regret about trying facial fillers, telling the Daily Star that they didn’t look natural on her.

  1. Tyra Banks

Tyra has become notorious for her hazing on the ANTM franchise, but before then, she was the first Black woman on the covers of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition and GQ, as well as a Victoria’s Secret angel. Her once-groundbreaking look soon began to transform into something more jarring–just take a look at before-and-after photos to see what we mean–and social media users said her face looked “distorted and muscular” or “in that middle stage of turning into a vampire.”

  1. Chrissy Teigen

Chrissy Teigen became well-known in the 2010s for marrying and starting a family with John Legend, but she’s also dabbled in reality TV quite a bit. Before that, she was a famous runway model gracing the covers of magazines (and a briefcase girl on “Deal or No Deal.”) One Redditor said, “Chrissy’s face is where every celeb’s buccal fat removal went to die,” and another called her face “overfilled.” Chrissy has been honest about procedures, shouting out the doctor who completed her buccal fat removal, and she has admitted to lowering her hairline and having an eyebrow transplant.
