The Ridiculously Lavish Life Of Eric And Lara Trump

Although Ivanka Trump is the richest of the Trump children, Eric and his wife Lara aren’t far behind. Using the success of his famous father, Eric himself has even admitted that nepotism has allowed him to get ahead in his career. When Lara joined the family business in 2014, she also started pulling in some serious banks thanks to being associated with the ex-POTUS. Due to their outrageous bank balances, Erica and Lara live a life of outlandish luxury, from huge mansions to getaways the rest of us can only dream of. Here’s everything you never knew about the couple’s absurdly lavish lifestyle.

Lara and Eric’s wedding was over-the-top

Married in 2014, Lara and Eric’s wedding was a blowout bash in Palm Beach, Florida. The Mar-a-Lago club lawn featured a cascade of crystals and over 400 guests. After the pair said “I Do,” the reception was moved to the grand ballroom, where Eric’s father, Donald, hosted his wedding to Melania in 2005. The space was drenched in gold, with 10,000 flowers and a menu of Cristal champagne, Grand Marnier cake, and caviar. Their pink and white wedding cake was six tiers high, and Lara wore not one but two designer gowns. The first was a Vera Wang dress with a 3-foot train, while the second was a suggestive sheer lace gown by Mark Ingram Atelier.

They spent millions on a home in Florida

When your dad is a real estate mogul, a life of luxury is pretty much guaranteed. No one knows that better than Eric Trump, who has taken advantage of this privilege by buying three of his dad’s luxury condos in NYC’s Trump Parc East at bottom dollar and combining them into a gigantic 2,400-square-foot penthouse with a Central Park view.

At first, he and his wife Lara spent their time equally between the lavish Trump Parc East apartment and the exclusive Briarcliff Manor in Westchester County. But in 2021, they moved to Florida and spent $3.2 million on a mansion in Jupiter with seven bathrooms and five bedrooms. Their home is the biggest property within the Trump National Golf Club gated community. It has multiple master bedrooms, a backyard with a grilling area and pool, a safe room, and endless luxury finishes. It’s also right near the other amenities at the Trump National Jupiter, such as a 15,000-square-foot spa, a 68,000-square-foot clubhouse, tennis courts, multiple restaurants, and more.

“We moved to Florida for our kids. We wanted to be around people who would treat them and us well,” Lara shared with The Conservateur. This decision was not just about finding kindred spirits but also a shrewd investment. Zillow estimates the value of their property at approximately $5.5 million, a testament to their foresight.

They’re pros at vacationing

Ivana Trump was once a competitive skier in the Czech Republic, and all three of her kids also love the sport. The family frequently vacationed in Aspen, Colorado, and took ski school lessons. As they got older, they carried that tradition onto their families and have a tradition of going on an annual ski trip with the whole family. In 2017, it was leaked that the family spent $330,000 on taxpayer money to have the Secret Service accompany them on their ski vacation. Although this sparked controversy, the family returned to Aspen the following year.

When they’re not hitting the slopes, they’re spending their time off sunbathing. Although Lara confirmed with OK! that their honeymoon would take place in France and Africa, they ultimately decided to vacation in Punta del Este, Uruguay, aka the East Hampton of South America.

They had a swanky trip to Buckingham Palace

During Donald Trump’s state visit to the UK in 2019 to attend Buckingham Palace’s state banquet, they stayed at the Corinthia London Hotel in Westminster, where the largest suite can cost up to $27,800. The state dinner itself had a grand dinner featuring a menu with expensive dishes like halibut, lamb, strawberry sable, and expensive bottles of wine such as the Chateau Lafite-Rothschild 1990, which costs around $1,700 per bottle.

Eric Trump has a controversial (and expensive) hobby

Lots of wealthy people love big-game hunting, and Eric Trump is no exception. In 2012, images were released of Eric and his brother Don Jr. proudly smiling as they posed with animal trophies. Their kills in Zimbabwe included a crocodile, a kudu, and an elephant. The backlash was immediate, but that hasn’t stopped them from partaking in this hobby. They told E! News they consider themselves “avid outdoorsmen” and always abide by local laws when they go hunting.

Lara Trump’s wardrobe is packed with jaw-dropping price tags

Lara loves her fashion, even when it gets criticism. Despite being called out for overly risqué outfits or ridiculed Easter looks, she still experiments with style, often buying luxe looks created by high-end designers. During the family’s visit to Buckingham Palace, she wore a floral Monique Lhullier dress. Lhullier’s dresses are said to have ready-to-wear looks that retail for upwards of $10,000. She’s even been seen with a $4,000 Louis Vuitton suitcase and a Celine Micro Luggage tote, which costs $3,300.

What’s the net worth of Eric and Lara Trump?

As the Trump Organization executive vice president and president of the Trump Winery, Eric’s net worth is approximately $300 million. Lara’s net worth is also nothing to scoff at. In 2020, when she was Trump’s campaign adviser for re-election, she was paid approximately $15,000 a month. In 2024, she was elected co-chair of the RNC. Lara Trump’s net worth is around $10 million.
